Health Care Reform Call with President Obama

Please join ICEOL, the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference (SDPC), and many others on a phone call with President Obama to discuss the health care policy debate. President Obama has agreed to participate in a nationwide phone call with national religious organizations and denominations on Wednesday, August 19th at 5:00 P. M. (EST). The goal of the call is to connect and inform the millions of people of faith across the country who are grappling with the complex issues of the health care policy debate. This is scheduled to be a 40-minute call.

Participants can either log on at www.faithforhealth.org at the time of the call, or dial (347) 996-5501 (long distance charges may apply).

You may RSVP your participation by sending an e-mail to health@sdpconference.info.

We want as many people as possible on the call, so please let your colleagues, friends, and family know so that they too can call in. Feel free to post this link on your Facebook page, Twitter account, or any other social networking site.

This call with President Obama is part of a broader effort by SDPC to make sure that we are represented in the debate and have a strong voice in the outcome. As a 501c3 organization, SDPC does not support any political party. Our mission is to facilitate our presence and capacity to make a difference.

For our communities, the stakes are high. Our interest and concern must be evident. Our voices must be organized and heard.
